At the Wisdom Path Healing Center the initial consult includes a homeopathic interview.
Homeopathy is a system of medicine founded by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in the late 18^th century. It is based on the principle that "like cures like". A wide range of substances are potentised (diluted and shaken) to make extremely powerful but harmless medicines, which act to stimulate the vital force.The vital force is the term in which Dr. Hahnemann coined for the healer within. Hence, homeopathy aligns with the ancient precept of Vis Medicatrix Naturae  (The Healing Power of Nature).

Homeopathy treats the whole person and the individual. It does not classify the individual according to a disease state but treats the diseased state of the particular individual. For example, in conventional medicine, a number of individuals determined to have a particular bacterial infection will be treated with one antibiotic, but in homeopathy each may receive a different medicine according to their particular physical, emotional, and mental response to the bacteria. In this way, the medicine stimulates the individual's vital force to respond to the imbalance which became manifest through the organism.  Such an approach allows one to address disease at its most fundamental level by removing impediments to the natural healer within.

Another example of the power of homeopathy is related to its ability to correct deeply rooted disturbance of the vital force. One example is that of a person that has a normal response involving running fast and being afraid after encountering a tiger in the wild; but thereafter, every time the person encounters a cat, even so much as a kitten, the same response occurs.  The initial response was appropriate, but the subsequent responses are inappropriate given the circumstances.

Once a false perception or delusion appears real to a person, adapting properly to current events becomes more difficult.  Is it a kitten or a tiger?  At this point, it does not matter.  The response is the same.  Continually acting on false perceptions leads to long term habits which underlie chronic diseases.

The correct homeopathic medicine clears false perception. With a unclouded sense of perception, this individual would no longer be affected out of normal proportion mentally, emotionally, or physically by any cat. Hence, homeopathy is able to reach disease, which affects all levels, on the level where it arises from.  Perception or the way one views the world determines how the world will manifest.   Insight brings relief where there is suffering.  Disease manifestation will be consistent with how the world is viewed.  Homeopathy brings clarity.  It is the medicine of the 21st century.  More light, please?
